Lt. Gen. (ret.) Tomasz Piotrowski

Fund Advisor · Former Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces

Decorated military officer and one of Poland's most senior commanders, with over three decades of service in the Polish Armed Forces. A graduate of the Higher Officers' School of Rocket Forces and Artillery, he rose through command positions across land forces and joint operations, including deployment as Deputy Commander of the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan. Served as Chief of Staff of the Operational Command before being appointed Operational Commander of the Armed Forces in 2018 — a position he held for two consecutive terms until 2023, commanding joint operations across land, air, sea, and cyber domains. Since retiring from active service in January 2024, he remains one of Poland's most authoritative voices on defense strategy, NATO integration, and dual-use technology investment.
